Permit requirements vary by project type and municipality. True Star confirms the applicable requirements and coordinates applications and inspections when required. Homeowners are never asked to bypass a required permit.

A paver patio takes 3–5 days. A pergola or patio cover takes 1–2 weeks. A full backyard renovation with multiple trades runs 3–6 weeks depending on scope and permit timelines. We give you a project schedule before work begins, and you get a dedicated point of contact, updates at key project milestones, and proactive communication whenever schedule, scope, or site conditions change.

True Star manages each project from design through final walkthrough. Our in-house team performs and oversees core project work, while vetted specialty trade partners are used when licensed or specialized expertise is required, gas lines and electrical rough-in, for example. True Star remains accountable for scheduling, quality control, and communication.

Simple, clearly defined projects may move directly into estimating and scheduling. Complex projects involving multiple features, structural work, or significant layout changes require an approved design before construction, we can review an existing design you provide, or create the required design through our paid design process. Design deliverables may include scaled plans, layout development, material selections, and 3D visualization. The $1,000 design retainer is credited toward construction when the project proceeds with True Star.

We are based in Frisco, TX and serve homeowners throughout North DFW, including The Colony, Prosper, Plano, Dallas, Carrollton, Lewisville, Allen, McKinney, Celina, and surrounding communities.

True Star provides a two-year workmanship warranty on constructed work. Plants are covered for 90 days. Applicable terms are documented in the project agreement.
